Anti Virus Protection - Do Not Be A Fool

Time flies when you are working with a computer isn't it? Most of us are probably on our computer at least a couples of hours every day. Does that sound about right? Then again, if you work on a computer at home or in some cramped cubicle, you may spend the majority of your day on a PC.

Now, I hope you're being cautious for all the time you spend typing, surfing, downloading, reading, and sending. After all, the last thing you need is a Trojan horse or irreparable virus who will destroy your system.

Yes this can be very annoying. Not only could it ruin your work, but it could also ruin your whole hard drive. That means saved material such as: work, family photos, downloads, the whole shebang. It is pretty sure that you need some good anti virus protection.

Last year I got hit hard. Not by a crazy shmoe in a smoky bar either. I'm talking about at home in my own family room. That place where you believe you are secure and comfortable every day. Unfortunately, when it comes to cyberspace, security has gone out the window. Or sometimes it look that way.

I was performing my normal web browsing. Just looking in the Internet for a few new desktops to grace my computer screen. Then suddenly it happened. Just as I downloaded a horror flick wallpaper, my screen went fuzzy.

What was happening! I was convinced I had excellent anti virus protection. How could I got hit all of a sudden by a random computer virus? Well, a good thing, my laptop was not the same. I shut it down and tried to restart, but it wouldn't comply.

It was time to talk to a specialist. He confirmed that my system board was fried. OUCH. This was going to cost me a lot; I could tell. I asked him if it was a virus, but he couldn't tell.

However, I was pretty sure it was that ugly horror movie wallpaper I tried to download. That's when it all happened. 450 dollars later, my computer was fixed. I immediately got back online and downloaded the best free anti virus protection I was able to find. I continue to update once every two weeks or so.

I hate that this is a never-ending story. The nasty viruses advance just as well as the anti virus protection advances. Who in God's name is making up this garbage and don't they have something better to do? Just a heads up; your PC or Mac is at stake, so stay recent with your anti virus protection.
