Asia - if you're ready to choose far afield, Asia is a wonderful place to go for bird watching vacation as various live there that you can not see anywhere in the west. Japan alone is home to around 600 species of birds. The most important wildlife preserves where you can see them is the Lake Utonai and Tateyama Bird sanctuaries. China's main attraction is not only its indigenous species of birds, but the fact that some sites like Beidaihe are a migratory centre for far-ranging birds from all across Asia. Thailand's Doi inthanon International Park is another good place to visit for bird watching, which have 382 resident species. Now you know that there exist a lot of places you could treat yourself in an excellent bird watching vacation. Remember to take your trusty bird watching binoculars and camera with you!
