The Good and the Bad in Weight Loss Pill Obesity is becoming the number one problem in the world. There are many children reported to start school having weight issues – both in developed and developing countries. There many ways to stop this but easier said than done. With the console games, television and internet – children are no longer outside playing hockey or baseball or just bike riding. The sad part of this is, there are cases that young children are now considering surgery rather than just go outside and play with their friends. Adults that are extremely obese have undergone surgery and there are many success stories that would make you want to jump the band wagon. But surgery is not for everyone, some opt for the weight loss pill for help. Weight loss pill can achieve fast result and requires little to no effort. The idea behind the effectiveness of the pill is to quicken a person’s metabolism. It enables losing weight quicker. But the problem is with the side effects from taking this drug – it increases the risk to getting heart valve disease. Though people know this and weight loss pills include this information in their drug indication, people would rather take the risk than exercise and lose the weight naturally. People spend millions of dollars to get hold of this wonder pill. And I just wonder if they even know how the pill works? Using pills to help in weight reduction has become common and underrated. People taking it does not even know what it can do to your body. Ignorance can kill. Long-term use of such drugs can lead to serious health problems. The usual side effects that a person can experience in taking weight loss pill would be discomfort, diarhhea, insomnia, headache and palpitation. But the effects are not the same with everybody, some have it worst. There have been reports that pills can cause renal failure, heart problems, tremors, stroke and hallucination. The pill can be a great help in losing weight. But one must know its limitations and at least know how the pill operates to avoid permanent problems and lessen the risk. The effectiveness of the pill also depends on the lifestyle of a person. Changing your lifestyle can help the pill work better and it would be easier for you to eradicate the pill out of your life when it becomes too much for you. The best way to use the pill is with proper diet. A diet that that consists of rice, oats, potatoes, fruits and vegetables will greatly help. Do not eliminate essential fibre on your diet, this is very important. Some people go for protein diet with no carbohydrates at all – but this should not be the case. People should start having a balance diet where all the food groups are present. There are good fats and bad fats – one should just know how to spot the difference. Combined with a good exercise regimen – you diet could be foolproof and very effective. Exercise can increase your heart rate and tone your body. This will naturally increase you metabolic rate which would result to weight loss. So use the pill in moderation combined with good diet and good exercise routine.
