The Folgaria Ski Resort And Its Historic Vistas

For serious skiers, the new ski resort in Folgaria provides more than 37 miles of ski runs. About 11 miles of ski trails are excellent for beginners and almost 2 miles are dedicated to expert skiers. The greater part of the ski runs in Folgaria's new ski resort is especially constructed for intermediate skiers. The snow is more than adequate and during summers, snow cannons are utilized to augment the natural snow.

To reach the ski runs, the new ski resort of Folgaria has a total of 25 lifts that has a total capacity of uplifting 35,000 skiers every hour. The accommodations in this new ski resort are varied, ranging from charming little chalets to posh hotels. Skiers will have many places to choose from. There are also several bars and restaurants that are known to provide the traditional warm Italian hospitality.

The new ski resort of Folgaria also provides numerous facilities for all its visitors. There is a ski school for beginners. There is an ice rink for those who would rather stay on their ice skates. And there are rental shops. These shops provide skiing and snowboarding gear. Finally, for families on winter vacations, the new ski resort of Folgaria also has a child care center.

Folgaria has come a long way from a war-ravaged plateau into a beautiful new ski resort. As it becomes more popular among tourists, this new ski resort will forge new and happier memories for the Trentino Alps.
