The Importance Of Ad Response Awareness

By: Janice Jenkins

How important is ad response to your marketing campaign? This is so important that you should never leave home without it. Even with a very small or limited budget, it doesn’t excuse you from making sure that you have carefully laid out a plan to measure and keep track of your advertising campaign such as your full color postcards. In fact, your ad response awareness program is the basis for your success of failure in your chosen industry.

Someone said that measuring your results is the most important thing you can do for your marketing campaign. This is so true. If you’re into business, especially if you’re running on limited resources, you can’t afford not to attract the attention of your readers. In addition, you cannot afford to have spent your entire budget on marketing collaterals such as your mortgage postcards, for example, if you’re into real estate, without getting your target readers to take action on your offer right away. A marketing campaign that does not produce response and action from target clients is a failed promotional effort; such a waste not only of your time, money and energy, but your clients’ as well.

The bottom line of every marketing campaign, whether online or offline is to get your readers to take action, and eventually influence them to choose you to provide the solution for their problem. With your marketing ads, you can actually influence your clients and prospects to make that decision that would benefit your business.

So how do you measure your results? By testing all the parts of your full color postcards, that is. From the headline to your body; from the design of each part to the overall layout and appearance, you need to determine what can be used and what should be discarded.

With print ads, you can easily measure the results as they are usually sent directly to your target audience, unlike those of TV and radio commercials. You can actually test the effectiveness of each print ad by trial and error. Sooner or later, you’ll be able to improve how you can better attract your target market and convey the right message, and eventually, create print ads that work effectively for your business.

Measuring your print ad and keeping track of your marketing campaign is not a one time deal. It is an ongoing process that you need to do regularly because of the ever-changing market and trends. Updating your advertising campaign to keep up with the times can help you a great deal in providing your target clients with an ad campaign that is not only effective but efficient as well. So make sure that you always improve on your ads. Constantly improving your marketing campaign can also improve your chances of growth in your industry.
