Seka is an actress of pornography, and one of the all time most popular. She was born Dorothiea Hundley on April 15, 1954 in Virginia. The prime of Sekas career was in the late 1970s and during the 1980s, when porn was just starting to make the transition from film to video. Seka quickly became one of the international film industrys most popular porn stars of her generation. She is a member of the Adult Video News Hall of Fame and also the X Rated Critics Organization Hall of Fame.

When Seka was a teenager in Hopewell, Virginia, she won several beauty pageants. She went on to own and operate several adult bookstores in Virginia and in Maryland in the 70s. She decided to move to Las Vegas, and did her first nude photo layout for a magazine. Shortly after this, she was able to land her first offer to shoot an adult film loop. At this point she moved to Los Angeles with her fiance, and they married in 1978. Seka adopted the screen name that she is so well known by after a blackjack dealer that she had met in Las Vegas. Her first performance in an adult movie was in the 1978 film Dracula Sucks, and she starred opposite of the infamous John C. Holmes in the movie. In 1980, she starred in 24 films and another 37 of them in 1981. Unfortunately, she divorced her husband in 1980, which was a messy divorce.

Seka is well known for her on screen sexual performances that ranged from anal sex, double penetration, and lesbian sex to using sex toys like strap ons, vibrators, and dildos. In the high point of her career, she had been known to shave her pubic hair, which is something that very few porn stars (and people) did back then. The adult films of Seka are some of the most popular erotic video of all time. Jamie Gillis had said of Seka that she was above porn, and was like a white trash queen. She was known in the business as The Platinum Princess and the Marilyn Monroe of porn. Seka has often said that her favorite fellow performers to work with are John Holmes, Paul Thomas, Mike Ranger, and Jamie Gillis. Veronica Hart was reportedly her favorite female costar, and the feeling was apparently mutual with Veronica, who had said that as long as she had a face, Seka could sit there. Kay Parker, Candida Royalle, and Aunt Peg were some of her other favorite partners.

Before the 1980s got too far underway, Seka had become the top female porn star of all time. After 1982, she started claiming that she wasnt getting paid enough, and she turned to stripping and nude modeling. She also later admitted that the HIV epidemic contributed to her taking quite a step back from the adult sex films. She had said that thats why she didnt make movies any more; she liked to live. She returned in the early 90s to make just a few more movies, her last one being American Garter. At this point, she was only 40, but apparently had gained weight and showed a large amount of sun damage to her skin. Seka likes to eat, so staying in shape for pornography was difficult for her. Seka eventually achieved a somewhat underground celebrity status and has been seen many times as an advocate in support of the pornography industry.
