Individuals lined up for hours in front of stores hoping they would be the first to own this technological marvel. This was due to its design and the multi-functions available on the unit. That is because the iPhone has a sleek design and is constructed with a huge screen. This screen is where the action takes place and is sensitive to the touch of the user to activate the various programs.rnrnIn addition, the 4gb iPhone is not bulky or cumbersome. In fact the iPhone is very thin which adds to its beauty and style.rnrnThe Multi-FunctionsrnrnThe operating system that the 4gb iPhone runs on is the Mac OS X. This system helps to support the many functions that are contained on the iPhone.rnrnOne of those applications is the music player. Another application included as part of the multi-functional package is a 2 megapixel camera. One additional worthwhile feature, out of many, was the ease of accessing the internet.rnrnOther functions provided by the iPhone were the ability to perform additional communication processes. These functions included e-mail, text messaging and the ability to easily access the Internet.rnrnNegative Comments Regarding The 4gb iPhonernrnOf course nothing is perfect. The 4gb iPhone is no exception. rnrnOne of the negative comments about the 4gb iPhone was that the camera did not have a video option. In addition, it was determined that 4gb was not enough memory.rnrnThe reality of the iPhone having only 4gb affected the future of the 4gb iPhone. Two months following the unveiling of this iPhone it was announced that this particular model of the iPhone would no longer be produced.rnrnThis of course affected the selling price of the 4gb iPhone. Originally, when the iPhone hit the market the selling price was set at around $499.00. With the determination that the memory was not sufficient the resulting decision was to stop production of this model. Because of this decision a 4gb iPhone can be purchased for about $200 less.
