Many people web entrepreneurs are interested about putting up a parallel business mainly because they are much less challenges in additional businesses as compared to starting up a new one. You already know what steps you need to take and in what order you need to do them. Also, you would already know by then what mistakes to avoid and which risks to take to achieve best results. With the experience you had on your first business, you will surely have learned most of what there is to know about a web based business.

Remember though that it will still not be easy to concentrate on two companies at the same time. However, with a parallel business, you enjoy more benefits not only in terms of financial profits, but you already have existing customer relationships as well as credit references to keep you going. You have already established yourself and your services, so your new one would bear the same desirable label. Also, you will already know what you can expect so you can be a little more realistic in terms of your business goals. Only risk-takers venture into parallel entrepreneurship. After all, it is still the risk-takers who have more chances to succeed in this highly competitive world.
